This week evolves us through the journey of self-development and greater understanding, admittedly as much of life does. While the waters may sometimes swell and frighten us, we must trust that our vessel is fit for the sea of life we are on. Suffering, disillusionment, and confusion are always bound to exist throughout our lives, but it is up to us to discern what is worth suffering, what is truth, and how to trust in the unknown to help us feel our way like the days before.

This morning might present some opportunities to heal through recognizing that it is ultimately our responsibility alone to make our world a better place for ourselves and others. Again, this is easier said than done, but there just might be some added initiative and inspiration to accept and reconcile that which we cannot change or control about where we have been. But we can change how we think about where we are going.
Though our pain and suffering is ours to experience, and our responsibility to heal, we should not dismiss the value of loved ones playing a part in being there to console us and remind us that we are not alone. We likely will find some kind soul to be there for us today, even if we have to reach out to them to lean on. If any opportunity arises to have some fun, by all means we should accept that offer and go lighten up, for the sake of our well-being and for the sake of those we love.
As we seek to better understand the value of meditative contemplation, such acts can establish a more sure footing for the state of our consciousness. So often we spin out into the wilderness of confusion and disarray that we forget the importance of mindful serenity and simplicity. Perhaps this is the tastiest recipe we can treat ourselves to today, especially as Moon meets its North Node this evening.

And because the rest of the day is all quiet on cosmotic frontier, we are free to roam across the landscape and experience the joys our senses afford us. It is a wonderful day to absorb the sensuality that surrounds us; the wind, the water, the smells, the touches, and all the beauty we can muster recognizing.

Today we will probably spend a good deal of time considering the risks and opportunities presenting themselves before us, not necessarily for today, but for the future that lies ahead. Along with that consideration, we should be thinking about how we cannot improve our financial situation if we don’t take certain risks, and if we don’t take certain risks, we don’t pursue the opportunities lying dormant within those risks. All of this points to setting aside the fears that inhibit us from doing things we really want to do, namely shamelessly showing the world who we are and what we love.
Our most authentic self-expression is patiently waiting for the fogs of our egos to dissipate so it can enter the limelight for all to behold. This self-actualization is part of the story of today. How can we carry on knowing that perhaps the most sacred facet of our jewel is not being polished? This facet needs to be polished and nurtured by self-love so it can brighten our future with confidence, sustainability, and hope.
Fear takes many forms, and in this case, self-doubt is the crippling agent that withholds our potential from manifesting on this physical plane. Carlos Castaneda writes, “What we need to do to allow magic to get hold of us is to banish doubts from our minds. Once doubts are banished, anything is possible.” Let’s unfurl the sails and disembark our harbors of doubt for the mysterious possibilities that whisper in the winds out at sea.

Those attempts to unravel the doubts in our minds to cleanse ourselves of their defeating presence continue today in ways that bring more understanding and clarity. We might be able to notice more of them, where they come from, and why we hold on to them. This understanding becomes knowledge, which is power. That power can be harnessed to exorcise, if you will, self-defeating patterns that have been a part of our wardrobe for a long time. Maybe it is getting to be high time to shop for patterns that suit who we are becoming, because we all know that life is nothing but a constant moment of becoming.
It is worth being vigilant today for tensions within relationships. The Venus-Uranus square amplifies stubborn displays of egoic pride and resentment. If we can orchestrate some means of mutual fun and playfulness, we just might avoid any electrifying flare ups between our own judgy quirks and those of others.
As our knowledge is challenged within by the chaotic ruins that held so much of our lives together in the past, the purifying and eradicating Mercury-Jupiter trine is a magical blessing bestowed upon us by the great cycles of time. This is a divine nudge to refine and expand our values and periphery. What are we taking with us and how far can we see?

What a wealth of potential for expanding our understanding of how to manage our lives with more refinement, positive intention, and overall wherewithal today! The alignments of understanding may arrive at synchronistic times that allow giddy excitement to flourish. We could be concocting a plan for how to display our self-expression and knowledge to others in hopes of proceeding positively in the direction of doubtless confidence.
Digging our heels in to taking action on the front of self-development, self-care, and self-love is before us, and the challenges that confront us on that path may be able to be navigated a little easier if we keep our eyes and ears open wide for clarity. Sometimes we struggle with knowing whether or not to socialize at any given time. Perhaps we more often choose to stay home alone, or perhaps we choose to go out with others. Whatever we choose today, we must accept that lessons lurk around every corner if we are open to accepting that we still have so much to learn from others.

Carrying our efforts to make our lives more manageable and successful into today brings us to the traumas that have affected how capable or incapable we are of doing so. So many of our experiences in life act like a wet blanket on our potential. Wringing out that blanket, hanging it out to dry, folding it, and putting it away in a closet is how we can pull through and stand ourselves back up to face the music.
We might notice the delusions of others conflicting with our perspective on any myriad of matters, challenging us to align with our own inner truth and knowing. If we can stay grounded and focused on the task of securing our foothold in our hopes and dreams, we just might escape the gutters of disillusionment that envelope those less capable of seeing the world clearly.
Centering ourselves in our confident perception of reality and feeling a deep sense of security in that knowledge will alleviate any threat to our individuation and sense of self-confidence. We can go softly into the night tonight snuggling up against the comforts that warm our hearts and nurture our feelings of belonging and being appreciated.

As Saturn in Pisces has exposed the fragility of sound structures we have taken for granted, Moon’s transit through Cancer wants reassurance that whatever stability still exists can provide the security necessary to root our daily lives in. There is a soundness and reliability to Saturn, but in Pisces confusion and chaos seep through cracks that previously went undetected. So, today we honor the inevitable unknowables that encompass the Great Mystery and seek to trust that we are safe and provided for here on Earth.
Having deep faith in the path of rivers that flow through us helps us let go of our incessant need to understand and control everything that comes our way in life. And in this letting go, we can also learn to let go of the irreversible traumas that have acted like 3 o’clock roadblocks in our lives for so long. All of this letting go of what has been and what is yet to come is not to say we give up, it is rather to say that our identity does not need to rely upon what has been or what we cannot control moving forward. In letting go we free ourselves of expectations and can better yield to what comes.
However we choose to ramble through this week, we are bound to get caught on snags that threaten to pull us under. Grandmaster Flash wrote, “It’s like a jungle sometimes. It makes me wonder how I keep from going under.” All the love and hope inherent in each of us always helps pull us through, especially when we share it with others. While this week is deeply about our own personal soul development, we should always seek loved ones to be an integral part of our lives. We must keep the faith and go on at a steady pace.
