This is a week to sort through the differences we have with others and patiently be open to learning from them. There could be a wave of unfamiliarity on Monday that pans out in unforeseen ways, and Wednesday’s shazam will pour us a spell of refinement and repair, but as the rest of the week progresses, albeit with a few bumps, due diligence and commitment to our visions and aspirations can reward us with a satisfying weekend of achievement. Hopefully we can utilize astrology to prepare for the potentials, both positive and challenging, that might be coming our way.

Moon in Libra sextile Venus in Leo
Moon is very happy to be aspecting Venus late in the afternoon for some welcomed cheerfulness and harmonic convergence within ourselves or with a partner or close friend. This bodes well for smoothing out any disagreements or confusion that may have surrounded the morning’s feelings between exuberant excitement and listless waywardness. It is always a relief to get a helping hand from harmonious Moon-Venus aspects, especially in signs like Libra and Leo.
We may want to be mindful of our egos getting the better of frustrating indecisions between ourselves and others. Perhaps the disagreements that may surface are related to certain financial risks or opportunities, or they could be related to priorities we believe are most important. Whatever the case, the chances for tension are minor and more likely earlier in the day than later, but of course it is often hard to say.

Moon in Libra quincunx Neptune in Pisces (150°)
Sun in Leo quincunx Pluto in Capricorn (150°)
Mars in Virgo quincunx Moon’s North Node in Aries (150°)
Moon in Libra sextile Sun in Leo
Today could be a challenging day to work out differences with others. There is a lot of difficulty finding common ground about many myriad issues, from staying focused on priorities to putting in hard enough work to please someone else. Though we may feel especially inclined to agree to things we might otherwise not choose, this can backfire quickly to dispel the dishonesty from not speaking up about what we truly believe or want.
Quincunx (aka inconjunct) aspects (150°) represent two points that do not share the same element or modality in astrology. Because of this, there are differing approaches that can stumble over one another and get frustrated due to lack of familiarity. It is not to say that this will be a day filled with disharmony and frustration, but being made aware that we may face some unfamiliar territories should help us be more mindful of this potential. Often the best recipe for days like this is remaining as independent as possible to avoid unnecessary clashes. Plan ahead!

Moon in Scorpio trine Saturn in Pisces
Venus in Leo square Jupiter in Taurus
Mars in Virgo opposite Neptune in Pisces
As we contend with the deep waters we struggle to see through this morning, there are boundary and authority issues at hand that might need to be better understood. Have any lines been crossed? Has someone exercised their dominance over us in a way that intrudes upon our safety, independence, or liberties? Sorting out these possibilities earlier than later today would be ideal because the remainder of the day could find us in some sticky situations.
The avenues of grace can be blocked to thru-traffic today, signaling ample fixation upon our own desires and stubborn positions related to values, finances, personal belongings, etc. Do we horde too much? Are we unable to let go of things that unnecessarily matter to us? Are we afraid to invest in something risky? Perhaps we will clash with someone about something menial that has underlying tones related to our values and priorities. Best to probably agree to disagree sooner than later. Those things can be discussed in the future.
As the afternoon passes, there is more potential for fanning the flames that could be bursting out of our flared nostrils. And if those flames are not blazing, we may find ourselves ghosted or ignored in some way, or wanting to do just that to someone else. There is an inner angst to get things sorted, organized, cleaned, fixed, and working properly like a well-lubricated machine, but when things dissolve, erode, confuse, and elude us, we can lose control of our emotions out of frustration. This is a classic example of recognizing the inevitability of unforeseen circumstances that thwart our best laid plans. We must not lose our cool today by reacting in hurtful ways. The word of the day is PATIENCE!

*Sun ingresses Virgo (5:02am EDT)*
*Mercury stations retrograde in Virgo (4:00pm EDT)*
Moon in Scorpio sextile Mercury in Virgo
Moon in Scorpio opposite Uranus in Taurus
Moon in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces
Welcome to Virgo season, everyone! One of the most traditional metaphors for the sign of Virgo is separating the wheat from the chaff. We dissect the important aspects of our lives in ways that expose the contrast between necessaries and unnecessaries. How are we going to refine our lifestyle so that we can function as optimally as possible? This is the final sign of personal development before moving into the relational and transpersonal signs.
We might find a deeper appreciation for how others teach us how to manage our lives more in healthier and more efficient ways, whether directly or indirectly. Maybe we witness someone having a terrible time trying to manage their life, or maybe we meet or know someone who is so adept at keeping their life organized that we become inspired to improve ours. Regardless which end of the spectrum may be teaching us these lessons, there is bound to be someone else teaching us these kinds of lessons today.
Due to Mercury stationing retrograde in Virgo today, we are bound to already be emphatically rethinking the ways in which we can improve our health, our hygiene, our organizational skills, our efficiency, and even our piety. This is a most auspicious time to put our energy into these things.
There are always lessons to be learned from the people around us, but sometimes valuable inspiration also comes from the intangible world around us. These revelations can jar us into contemplative moments that have the capacity to transform our perspective about any number of things. Furthermore, allowing the unknown to play a valuable part in our lives helps quell expectations and our egoic desire for control over everything.

Moon in Sagittarius square Sun in Virgo
Moon in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces
Mars in Virgo trine Pluto in Capricorn
Moon’s first quarter square to Sun implies a test to see how we are getting on with our New Moon intentions. Thinking back to last week’s New Moon in Leo and what we were setting in place for growth can give us some valuable insight about where things stand today. Maybe we are feeling the anxiety and weight of expansive opportunities that may not be entirely in our control.
There can be vague structures that we wish were more clearly delineated for us, or maybe the distant landscapes and horizons we seek are challenging to manifest or come to terms with. As is usually the case with Sagittarius Moons, we are inclined to expand our vision and understanding of things we want to know more about, but when faced with squares to Sun and Saturn, there can be some anxiety and very important caveats to consider in that process.
The evening promises some grounding and fuel for accomplishing the tasks that will help facilitate manifesting those visions and expansive opportunities. Charging ahead into these pragmatic tasks can not only take our minds off the uncertainty that seems to envelope us at this time, but they can help ensure our path forward is not encumbered by too many inconsequentials or overlooked matters of importance. Plan on a day of recognizing the challenges that still lie before us and then preparing for those challenges by getting our lives in order to be able to face them.

Moon in Sagittarius trine Venus in Leo
Moon in Sagittarius trine Chiron in Aries
Moon in Sagittarius square Mercury in Virgo
The possible anxiety inherent in yesterday’s transits fortunately make way for a little decompressing relief this morning. The diligent work we hopefully took care of last night should be paying off on our feelings, allowing some excitement to filter into our hearts. These trines don’t always bring harmony and joy, but they do tend to relieve pressure, so hopefully we are all feeling this a bit this morning.
With hope always in mind and heart, this afternoon’s Moon-Chiron trine can bring some resolutions to any insecurities we have been hung up on for however long. Though a fleeting transit, we should be observant to whether or not we can overcome some form of pain or suffering we have experienced lately. Have resolutions been made? If not, is there still time and room enough to fit those into our wary hearts? Hope can heal more than we realize.
It may be that our evening reminds us of last night’s efforts to fruitfully organize and tidy up the messes and disarray in our life, because while we are beginning to feel like things are in order, we may also be realizing we forgot some important communication or logistical matters that were not finalized. Making a list and crossing everything off is the best course of action.

Moon in Sagittarius square Mars in Virgo
Moon in Capricorn trine Sun in Virgo and sextile Saturn in Pisces
What was overlooked Thursday and Friday can be sorted out and accomplished today. The call for refinement and optimal life management is rippling across the treetops today, beckoning diligence and commitment to clearing up any disarray in our lives. This will help sow the seeds of enjoyment waiting for us on the Full Moon on Wednesday. It is wise to consider approaching these phases of the Moon, and its aspects to other planets, as steps toward accomplishments. When the steps are taken care of, the reward can be enchanting.
Again, those menial tasks that set in place the cornerstones of positive growth reap rewards such as those available today. While Capricorn Moons sometimes usher in times of hard work and determination to succeed, today can usher in some warm gratitude to ourselves if we stuck to the important tasks that were presented to us in the latter half of the week. Perhaps we can finally relax a little and soak up the successes that we hopefully earned. Changes are always afoot, but pragmatically remaining aware of our situation as often as we can helps dispel the ruins that might ensue if we choose otherwise.
It is a week of work, both personal and relational, but there is more clarity and understanding regarding how and why that work is so valuable. We may find ourselves unsure or unfamiliar with certain things, perhaps more than normal, but if we practice patience like it is part of our job criteria (it is!), then we can gather information and perspectives we might otherwise overlook or scoff at. Catalyzing our satisfaction is a diligent work ethic to keep our ships tight and orderly so any unforeseens can be handled and navigated gracefully.
