Carrying the torch of determination from last week into this week requires we step back from our emotional cauldron and then carefully assess the health of the relationships we find ourselves in. These days are challenging and fraught with tests to determine our resolve to not just withstand what comes around the corner, but to embrace it all as gracefully as possible, knowing that greater strength and wisdom await us at each bend in the road. We are transitioning out of Scorpio season and into Sagittarius season, thus rising out of the shadows of our souls to embrace the expansive horizons we never knew were there.

Moon in Aquarius sextile Chiron in Aries
Moon in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus
It is a good day to take a step back from the emotional toll our trauma creates in our lives and imbibe in some enlightening Sunday inspiration. Sometimes stepping back from such stress helps us see our situation more clearly. The roller coaster of our feelings very often distracts us from our tasks at hand and hinders not just our ability to focus and concentrate, but it hinders our personal growth and capacity to have a nice time doing whatever it is we do for fun.
Allowing ourselves to lay down our emotional burdens today helps us focus our mind’s eye upon the rational necessities we must continue to abide by if we are going to advance toward a brighter and more enlightened future. The stability of our resources might need to be keenly analyzed so we can proceed with confidence and reassurance that our path and choices are sustainable. Once we can get there, we can creatively imagine how we can make things even better!

Moon in Aquarius square Mars and Sun in Scorpio
Moon conjunct Saturn in Pisces
Sun in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn
Mercury in Sagittarius trine Chiron in Aries
Moon in Pisces sextile Jupiter in Taurus
Have we taken a moment to notice whether or not we learned something valuable from Saturday’s residual agitations? Something we might be able to apply to the alchemy of our improving life? Though our ambitions and efforts to achieve the great things we aim to achieve have perhaps been limited or lacking lately, there is still a hanging thread for us to grab on to in order to stay tied to those goals. We might just need to reassess all the details of what those goals are and how to accomplish them.
We can make valuable headway in this arena today if we make the time for it somehow. Life has its way of pulling us hither and yon, so creating a 15 minute window of time to sit with this topic can help us recalibrate the chemistry of our ambitious pursuit of our dreams and visions. Though some of those dreams might be lofty or ascending out of the pipe, sometimes the value of our creative inspiration and excitability about our future is more important than the feasibility of their manifestation.
Easing our way through the day the best we can, remembering to be mindful of our thoughts, actions, reactions, and feelings, can help ensure that any conversation or journey we take is less fraught with agitation or pain. Because we may be overly thinking about the wounds we have endured, we would do well to breathe and relax into some version of convalescence in order to remain inspired and spirited.

Moon in Pisces square Mercury in Sagittarius
Mars in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn
The deep, luscious thoughts and feelings of drifting away into the mists of Avalon might be met at the gates of the Tor with an inspiring messenger who brings the exact wisdom we need at exactly the right time. The myths, religions, and philosophies that penetrate our unconsciousness could surface through valuable conversations with other like-minded inspirationalists today. Do heed the sparkles in the eyes of passersby. They just might be your kind of zoo.
Deep beneath the surface of the conversations that may ensue today are the composted reminders of what lies hidden behind our curated curtains. That which has been sleeping in the shadows of our sadness may rise up from the ashes to agitate our whimsy for reasons we cannot ascertain. With careful analysis, however, we might just glimpse important lessons of regeneration to help us on our journey.

Moon conjunct Neptune in Pisces
*Sun ingresses Sagittarius*
Moon in Pisces trine Mars in Scorpio
Venus in Libra opposite Chiron in Aries
The vast inspiring notions of reality that seek to penetrate and enlighten our consciousness are swimming through the ebbing and flowing tides of our souls this morning. Moon’s monthly communion with Neptune in limitless Pisces ensures our day will begin with some resistance to reality. Couples with Sun’s annual ingress into Sagittarius, the gates are open for us to walk through into the expansive realm of opportunities and inspiration. Easing our frustrations with ancient wisdom is never a bad idea, particularly if those frustrations have been repeating themselves ruthlessly in our lives.
How we placate the anger that swells within our relationships from time to time is an indication of our emotional maturity. The tension and stress that wraps around our otherwise liberated souls often seems to squeeze the magic out of us, leaving us like a wilted, dying flower. It should be one of our greatest achievements to practice and perfect our ability to embody serenity in the face of raging tempests. May we continue to work on that feat.
As the evening rolls in, we find ourselves face to face with the delicate balancing act of how we relate to other people in our lives. Not only this, but how far we have come in our deeply personal journey of healing from the wounds of our past. How are others helping us through that process? Are they helping facilitate healing through their affection, listening, and emotional support? Or are they dismissive, uninterested, and indifferent? We might need to have an important conversation about how to sort out the careless from the caring. If we cannot rely on the emotional support of certain friends or loved ones, they might not be interested in seeing us heal and thrive. It is invaluable to discern this if we are to proceed in a way that is best for us.

Sun in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces
Moon conjunct Chiron in Aries
Moon in Aries opposite Venus in Libra
Moon in Aries trine Mercury in Sagittarius
We may feel challenged or limited in our efforts to expand our reach today. Though we are feeling more inspired to reach to the stars for inspiration and greater wisdom with Sun now in Sagittarius, the confines of Saturn block the road to such redemption. While detours exist, it may be best to cultivate patience and trust that Saturn’s restrictions are in place for reasons we cannot understand, but in time we will.
The revelations discovered yesterday about the support we are or are not receiving from loved ones and friends are hitting home where it counts today. While yesterday may have exposed some truths about how others support us or not, today we are likely more inclined to take it personally. This can be very challenging while mingling with family and loved ones over the holiday, so making special note of what hurts us or heals us today for future reference is a worthy task.
Though most are, not all our struggles are with others. Sometimes the struggle with ourselves cuts deeper than anything else. This reflection shows us, then, how our drive to relate harmoniously with others can help us learn how to more harmoniously relate to ourselves. And with conceivably heartening communication lines open today, the conversations around the table are sure to not only be lively and engaging, but worthy of keenly observing how much love is present between ourselves and those loved ones. Gratitude runs deep if we stop to look for it.

*Mars ingresses Sagittarius*
Moon conjunct its North Node in Aries
Moon in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn
Moon in Taurus sextile Saturn in Pisces
How are we asserting ourselves to honor the wisdom of our future? Are we driven to expand our perspectives and seek bodies of knowledge to acquire a deeper understanding of the world we live in? Do we have a solid and grounded vision of where we wish to go, who we wish to be, who we wish to be with? Taking it solely upon ourselves to design, strategize, implement, and manifest all of what we hope to do and be is imperative if we truly want all of that to unfold for us. And while our independence and liberties feel very important to us, we must contend with the valuable assets of compromise and sustainability. Surely no notable accomplishment has ever been achieved without either.
When we recognize what we desire, we must understand whether or not acquiring that will bring love and joy to not just ourselves, but to the ones we love and respect, too.
Our limitations teach restraint, discipline, patience, and resolve so that when we can proceed toward our desires, we do so with respect and gratitude for what we have earned. Nothing good comes easy, they say, and indeed this is often true, even if the hard part comes much later. Practicing the art of patience will indelibly deliver deeper appreciation. It may be time to plan for the future with an eye to our resources, the sustainability of those resources, and how patient we can be to reach the dreams we cherish.

Moon conjunct Jupiter in Taurus
Mars in Sagittarius square Saturn in Pisces
We may obsess over the luscious delights that arouse our senses today. Concocting intoxicating elixirs of sensual pleasures on one hand promises ecstasy, yet on the other hand threatens excessive indulgence. The prudence of balancing stress-relieving orgasmic sensations with noble adherence to practical and disciplined hard work is playing out today. We are at once driven to indulge and to pull back the reins. Compromising with a good portion of each is sure to win the day today.
Our drive to expand our horizons is met with pragmatic limitations upon our delusions. How far we want to go may not jive with how far we can go. Letting go of the deep unreal so that honest recognition of what is truly possible can pervade our desires will help ensure less time is wasted on our journey towards the most valuable revelations. Sometimes limitations and boundaries are incredibly important, especially when we have a tendency to overindulge in reckless and boundless desires. So, while we are sure to relish the sensualities of our morning, we must prepare for the pragmatism of practical matters later in the day. May we all accept and delight in this ebb and flow of life. Perhaps it is true that we must earn our pleasures.
The winds may be heavy on the borderline, but if we are dressed and equipped with the strength and poise life has taught us, we can conquer any deluge that it throws our way. “Nobody told me there’d be days like these. Strange days indeed!” John Lennon beautifully sums up the plight of life without a paddle for us and reminds us to expect the unexpected. Hopefully we can all continue to expand our horizons, delight in sensuality, and honor the hard work necessary to earn the dreams we dream for ourselves and our loved ones.
