As we work hard to understand and process the emotional and psychological shifts occurring in the cosmos, there can be feelings of disarray and chaos surrounding the structures and routines we’ve relied upon for quite some time. Much of the inner work surrounding our childhood trauma can be so daunting and disturbing that we usually choose to tuck it away, intending to maybe face it another time. Well, there is a certain ripeness today to drape our chainmail over our breasts, unsheathe our swords, and charge across the misty plains into battle. It probably seems like there is never a good day to do such a thing, but our inner child is begging us to figure out some way to allow it to speak.
While speaking is one method of getting it out, perhaps a quieter and more private means is by writing. Telling all the stories, the whole stories, from start to finish, however many times, always helps shine more light on our wounds, which heals them more and more each time. Don’t be afraid to unpack your bag.

Sunday and Monday’s conceivably challenging inner work cautiously gives way to ambitious blessings and redemption today. There can be a quirky kind of excitement and hope surrounding us. Yet the emotional layer that floats across our morning fields may be difficult to see through, which is why we would do well to instinctually feel our way through it like the days before. Moon and Mars in Cancer is a very sensitive union that must be approached carefully and with diligent care and respect for the feelings of others.

Sometimes understanding why we value someone or something can be all we need to make sense of our lives. These reflections allow us to appreciate who we are and to notice our capacity to love. Spending the day noticing everything and everyone that holds a special place in our hearts, and why they hold that place in there, can bring a level of alleviation to any inner struggles we are going through.
And inner struggles may indeed be nudging their way out of the vaults of our unconsciousness today. If we set aside a little alone time today to harken back to Sunday and Monday, we might notice that our inner child wants to be heard again, but this time it wants to be nurtured and reassured that we love them. This is where our relationship with ourselves becomes holistic and transformative. This transformation fosters an undeniably greater capacity for altruism and compassion.

Saturn in Pisces can make it seem as though the police turned in their badges and joined the party, and while this seems exciting on many levels, it does open up the sluice gates for anything to happen. The unbridled possibilities of today’s opening trine can send us into territories of emotional rampage, swashbuckling our way through the puddles of our loved ones’ sensitivities. But if we are mindful and respectful, honing our social sensibilities, there is great potential for some of the most intimate connections to be made. Just be cool and collected…if you can!
Carrying those touchy feelies into the night can unravel some egoic confrontations. One idea might be to spontaneously redecorate our home in some way, shape, or form, but try to keep cool if you have a partner and they don’t like your ideas. You might not like theirs either. That’s when it’s time to pick up a book or throw a movie on.

Someone finally found the pressure release valve! What a relief! After a very early morning square to its own nodes, allowing pause to reflect upon where we stand between our past and future, Moon playfully saunters through Leo today, eventually forming a trine to Sun in Aries.
This is an exuberant and energized day to usher in the weekend. We might find something fun to do that doesn’t involve all the daunting emotional work we’ve been through. Do something hair-brained, or something you’ve never done before! Rest assured we all deserve this much-needed day off for some sincere fun. Hopefully we can all enjoy it as much as possible!

Moon in Leo square Uranus and Venus in Taurus
While today’s Leo Moon allows us to carry on the exuberance and playfulness of yesterday, it does come into a square aspect with Uranus and then Venus in Taurus early this morning. It may be wise to watch how much we spend today, as the excited Leo Moon wants to indulge glamourous Venus in Taurus with all the beautiful things.
This is true on a more macro level, as well. Taking stock of our resources, our spending, and our income may not be a bad idea at some point today, at the very least recognizing any over-indulgences we should be reeling in a bit. The spendthrift in us would be wiser to wait until Monday evening to do so, when Moon is in sensible Virgo trining Venus and Uranus in Taurus.
After some daunting but necessary emotional inner work, the weekend is one for unwinding, having fun, and letting go of the pressures from earlier in the week. Be sure to seek companionship in some way so you can share in matters of the heart. It is a gorgeous weekend to love and be loved. Make like an innocent child and play to your heart’s content!
