April 23-29, 2023

This week focuses on gathering important information and inspiration to help guide us through the gauntlet of our personal soul development. While we may feel as though we are content enough with our inner work and soul development, the mercenaries of the cosmos beg to differ. We are seeking knowledge, understanding, inner security, joy, refinement, and ultimately an inspiring legacy. These processes require our attention, meditation, and conviction if we are to see them through to manifestation. Let’s work hard on ourselves so we can work better together!

Moon conjunct Venus in Gemini

Moon sextile Chiron in Aries

Perhaps a Sunday drive someplace fun and different would help appease Moon and Venus’s union in Gemini today. The desire for dialogue, day trips, and appreciating the beauty that surrounds us seems to paint our day with illustrious hues. We just might better understand ourselves and the relationships we are in if we allow honesty and open conversations to unfold organically.

Moon’s sextile to Chiron in the early afternoon may spark some fresh clarity and understanding surrounding the pains of our inner child. Maybe we will read something or hear something that reminds us of how or why we suffered through the struggles of the past. Every time we stumble upon these memories, aside from possibly triggering fear, anxiety, or depression, the surfacing memories are also opportunities to accept, forgive, and heal the ways in which those experiences affected us.

Sun conjunct the North Node in Taurus

Moon in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces

Moon ingresses Cancer

We could find ourselves struggling to reconcile our ambition to create greater sustainability and our confusion about how to integrate that ambition to stabilize our resources. The path forward can be glimpsed today, but our minds may be riddled with distractions and inconsequentials. Making a date with our body to help the barn swallows of our mind land gracefully can allow clarity and confidence to guide us.

Later in the afternoon, Moon’s ingress into Cancer nurtures us into the evening, inviting us to appreciate the things that make us feel comfortable and safe. While the clouds of delusion or confusion drift on by, we can be comforted by the warm glow of a family meal and helping others feel safe and appreciated.

Moon in Cancer trine Saturn in Pisces

Venus in Gemini sextile Chiron in Aries

Moon in Cancer sextile Mercury in Taurus and conjunct Mars in Cancer

Moon trine Saturn occurs while we are asleep, so it is waning upon waking, but we can rise this morning wanting to focus on family matters and the emotional exaltations of harmonious synchronicities. The time-keepers of the galaxy seem to place what we need in front of us at exactly the right time when they are in relative harmony.

As the evening settles in, our memories may shift to the trying dilemmas that envelop our relationships, begging us to notice the ways in which we can help heal each other. The struggle to feel cheerful as often as we wish to can leave us feeling hopeless sometimes. Don’t be afraid to talk about it with someone you love and trust.

Late in the evening, our mood may turn a tad touchy and tempered, so settling into our own forays may help ease the passage to our snuggly nest. It might be best to avoid getting into sensitive topics with someone, especially if we know their opinions differ from our own.

Moon in Cancer square Chiron and Jupiter in Aries

Moon in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces

Today can find us feeling a little squirrely about our identity, perhaps causing us to question how secure we feel as individuals, as opposed to how we fit in with the masses. While there can be healthy growth toward individuating, we might toss that tough inner work aside to melt into the emotional fields of our dreams. We shouldn’t feel afraid to dream of a future that brings us a greater sense of inner security. How can we recalibrate our habits and addictions to embrace a future of joy and serenity?

Moon ingresses Leo and opposes Pluto in Aquarius

Moon in Leo squares its Nodes

We are filtering our emotions out today in order to make headway on our path toward exuberant self-expression. This can be a bit challenging, however, because while we feel inspired to show our faces and seek attention, there can be a nagging barrier between ourselves and the freedom we are pursuing.

Taking stock of what we want our legacy to be in life, as well as what we need to do to overcome the potential pitfalls on our way to achieving that legacy could likely be the story of our day. Usually when Moon squares its nodes there is a tendency to reflect upon our journey, both past and future. When we do this, we should be asking ourselves deep down what our values are and how we can nurture and refine those values, as well as how we can sustain and honor them.

Moon in Leo square Mercury in Taurus

Moon in Leo trine Chiron in Aries and square Uranus in Taurus

Adding to yesterday’s reflection of our values and legacy, today we find ourselves taking that reflection into deeper refinement and recalibration. Due to Moon’s aspect to retrograde Mercury, the choices we have made in the past about any myriad of things could be brought to light and recognized as unsustainable or not aligned with the changing values we are finding ourselves embracing now. It is an added day to assess what matters the most to us, and to allow the importance of those components of our lives to help shape our identity and personal truth.

There can be enlightening inspiration to elevate our perspective of our life. To have and to hold through all the years ahead. What can we do to shine brighter, build a legacy that is sustainable and valuable, and forge greatness out of the weeds of our past? Taking the pain and suffering and transmuting it all into diamonds of magic and inspiration should be our paramount endeavor in life.

Moon in Leo trine Jupiter in Aries

Moon ingresses Virgo

Mars in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus

All the focus we gave to building an inspiring legacy can make us feel like it is possible today. The opportunities that come our way should be recognized and harnessed if we have the keen sight to see them. A fiery gusto pervades our morning, which can reveal to us just how excited we are for what lies ahead. Taking initiative should always be our modus operandi.

Fittingly, Moon’s ingress into Virgo can help us weed out the unnecessaries that plague our progress. Whittling away the outer layers to unveil the beautiful sculpture that lies hidden within is how Virgo applies its expertise. We are, in short, applying the knowledge acquired throughout our lives to manifest the future of our dreams. And all of this work is backed by sincere inspiration to craft a healthy, sustainable life of inner security and liberation from the woes of our past.

We are looking to our future this week by reflecting upon our past. Taking into account the struggles and suffering endured for so long brings us closer to accepting what we have in our toolbox that can heal and inspire others along the way. Working harder to recognize what sincerely means the most to us and letting the distractive unnecessary weights of the past fall by the wayside is the theme of the week.
